Fluted fronts and gold trims

About the project
The kitchen turns an L and stays light throughout. A single gold trim runs along the whole run: it separates the fluted band of cabinets above from the flat doors below and carries on around the corner.
The fronts
Base and wall doors are matt and handleless. Above the wall units sits one more band — fluted, with a relief that catches the light. The drawers open on a gold profile recessed under the front.
Worktop and splashback
The worktop and the splashback are white with a stone pattern and meet without a visible transition. A gold sink is set into the worktop with a gold tap beside it, and a strip of light runs beneath the wall units.
The tall run
By the entrance stands a tall run: it holds the space for the fridge and a built-in oven, with cabinets above it up to the ceiling. The plinth carries a gold ventilation grille — the same gold as the trim and the drawer profiles.
